Deeper Dig On Planning and Execution, Tom Brush, Part 2

This session was recorded before the current pandemic, but these issues remain critical for nonprofits today. Part 2 of our conversation with Tom Brush, CEO of Advancement Designs. This time we get into the idea of planning and execution, and how to get past the notion that a plan is a document that sits on the shelf for eleven months at a time. We discuss:

  • Understanding and knowing what your mission is – one assumes this is a given, but sadly, not for many nonprofits.
  • Reviewing a nonprofit’s current scope of activities, and determining how to measure those efforts.
  • Making sure those efforts are measured against definable, quantifiable SMART goals.
  • Fundraising feasibility studies, are they relevant?
