Dorothea is the Executive Director of the Training and Counseling Center at St. Luke’s in Atlanta, Georgia. We talk about running a church-affiliated nonprofit that is a free-standing 501(c)(3), but remains something of a mission-activity for the church. Dorothea speaks about what it means to step into the leadership of a long-time established entity, managing change within an entrenched culture, and the importance of establishing trust as being central to building an organization.
